Dr Stuart Hawkins

  

Stuart is an archaeologist with over 24 years’ experience in New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Timor-Leste, Vanuatu, and Fiji. Stuart was an ARC DECRA Fellow, and a Gerda Henkel Scholar, and gained his BA and MA in Anthropology at the University of Auckland and a PhD in Archaeology at the Australian National University. He has utilized

  

Stuart is an archaeologist with over 24 years’ experience in New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Timor-Leste, Vanuatu, and Fiji. Stuart was an ARC DECRA Fellow, and a Gerda Henkel Scholar, and gained his BA and MA in Anthropology at the University of Auckland and a PhD in Archaeology at the Australian National University. He has utilized his specialty in field archaeology and vertebrate osteology to engage in multi-disciplinary research in the wider Asia-Pacific region which has resulted in a significant number of peer reviewed publications and unpublished consultancy client reports.

Based in New Zealand, our mission is to provide high quality cost effective archaeological services to a variety of public and private entities, helping our clients navigate their legislative obligations with respect to cultural heritage, help get their projects complete on time, while unearthing our rich past.

Pratiwi is a bioarchaeologist with 10 years’ experience in Indonesia and Timor-Leste. She is a Fulbright Scholar who received her BA in archaeology at the Universitas Gadjah Mada in Indonesia and her MSc in human skeletal biology at New York University. She is currently finishing a PhD at Southern Cross University in Australia focusing 

  

Pratiwi is a bioarchaeologist with 10 years’ experience in Indonesia and Timor-Leste. She is currently finishing a PhD at Southern Cross University in Australia focusing on the mortuary practices, health, and diet of peoples in Wallacea during the Austronesian dispersal.
